What is the difference between Purpose & Passion?

Do you base your business on your passion or your purpose?
Or is there even a difference?

Passion is something that gives you great energy... for a while.
Passion comes and goes. You might be passionate about something for some time, but after a while, it goes away and you might find a different passion.

However, purpose is something you have to offer to this world. It combines your values, your unique talents, and your experience.
Purpose is your mission. It is something that doesn't change.

If you base your business on your passion, you might not love your business 2-4 years from now.

If you base your business on your purpose, it will be fulfilling, life-giving and the excitement will not die down.
The form or your business model might change, but the mission stays.
